INDEX listing of all files available via the mail archiver or via anonymous ftp. CATALOGUE The catalogue of software available from CITI. Includes short descriptions, catalogue reference numbers, and other information. LICENSE Contains specific terms and conditions of the end- user license. The license should be printed out, completed, signed, and returned to CITI by prospective licensees for any software requiring a license. * * * * * FILES USED BY DEVELOPERS FOR SUBMITTING SOFTWARE README This file. INFO General instructions for investigators and others who wish to submit software for distribution by CITI; includes a discussion of the different cat- egories of software (PD, IU1, IU2, and CM). SUBMIT Form to be filled out and forwarded to CITI by the investigator as the first step in submitting soft- ware for distribution by CITI. This form can be submitted electronically for PD and IU1 software; it must be submitted in a signed hard copy for IU2 and CM software. LEGEND.COP General instructions on how to display a proper copyright legend (e.g., using the proper format, etc.) LEGEND.PD Specific instructions on copyright legends to be included in "public domain" (PD) software. Refers to additional instructions in the file LEGEND.COP (mentioned above). LEGEND.IU Specific instructions on copyright legends for "internal use" (IU) software. Refers to addi- tional instructions in the file LEGEND.COP (mentioned above). EXPORT* EXPORT1, EXPORT2, and EXPORT3 explain some important points about U.S. export restrictions on "technical data" (which includes software). Export controls do not apply to PD or IU1 software. Export controls potentially apply to some IU2 and CM software.
